that a "low car limbo contest" is a thing.
Apparently there's a car meet like this going on in Illinois next month.
I know it's people's property/money and they can do what they want with it, but I simply do not understand why you'd want this for your car:
They should rename it to the "Most Undrivable Car with a Ruined Underbody Contest." I know it's not as catchy, but it's more accurate.

A brief story sort of linked to this. I was cycling to uni the other day and noticed a pretty heavy scrape on a speedbump then drops of oil that got bigger and bigger. There was a pool of oil at the next traffic light. I assume that car is now dead and either stanced or the driver was too dumb to slow down enough.

I watched a video once. It was of an entrance like this and lowered car drove in to it to see who could make the loudest scrape.

I just thought of this.
But then I saw what it actually is. . .

I was at a meet where one happened. I did not bother to watch it, except for when I walked by it on my way to the restroom... They left a ton of scrape marks on the pavement, it looks like crap when it was done. Said crowd also was doing flybys of the lot when they left, and were trying to do burnouts and whatnot.
And then they all bitched when the venue put massive speed bumps all around the lot on the access roads. They also don't have any meets scheduled there for this summer...
Said lot is also used for many legit autox groups, who now can't get in over the speedbumps, so they are also pissed.

I didn't know it was a thing until I went to a VAG show a few years back. Whatever floats their boat, I guess.

Chris we should go and mock them as we drive over speed bumps without damaging anything haha. Where in Illinois is it

I will never understand the slammed/stanced scene. It's the stupidest thing you could ever do to a car; yes, even worse than brodozers.

HAHAHAHA

I'm not sure, their FB event page doesn't even have a location.
It's being held by the So ill Apparel and Decals company or whatever.

Yeah, the slammed/stance community is full of VWs and Audis.

Man they let just about anyone start a company these days. I wonder if they are on etsy haha

With how many riced out cars I see with "So ill" decals at some of the meets/shows, I'm guessing they're actually making pretty decent money. It's just such a bro/ricer brand that it almost hurts.

That's how you know it's a good meet to stay away from, if they have no idea where it's actually going to be held...

Can't risk the cops finding out and breaking it up/ticketing everyone! hahaha

So true, and so brotastic.
